Comments

When you leave a comment on our website, the data entered in the comment form, but also your IP address and the user agent of your browser are collected to help us detect unwanted comments.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The confidentiality provisions of the Gravatar service are available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After validation of your comment, your profile photo will be publicly visible next to your comment.

If you leave a comment on our site, you may save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is only for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in this information if you leave another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.

If you have an account and log in to this site, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set a number of cookies to save your login information and screen preferences. The lifespan of a connection cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. Storage times for your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows subsequent comments to be automatically recognized and approved instead of leaving them in the moderation queue.

For users who register on our site (if possible), we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All users can view, modify or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Site managers can also view and modify this information.

What we collect and store

During your visit to the site, we track:

When you purchase from our website, we will ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, delivery address, email address, telephone number, payment/credit card details and possibly account details such as username and password. This information will be used to:

  • Payment processing and fraud prevention
  • Set up your account for our store

If you create an account, we store your name, address, email, and phone number, which will be used to pre-populate order validation for future orders.

For example, we store order information for XXX years for taxes and accounting. This includes your name, email address, and billing and shipping addresses.

We also store comments or reviews, if you choose to send them.

Who on our team has access to the data

Our team members have access to the information you provide to us. For example, store administrators and managers have access to:

  • Order information such as what was purchased, when and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information such as your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team has access to this information to process orders, issue refunds and support you.

Payments

Paypal

We accept payments by PayPal. When processing payments, certain data will be transmitted to PayPal, including information required for payment execution, such as the total amount or billing information.

stripe

Payments by credit card on the site are secure, they are made via the Stripe payment system. The Chenoha Studio site does not take note of your banking information at any time.

In order to ensure the security of payment by bank card, the Buyer must send Chenoha Studio the visual cryptogram (CVV) appearing on the back of the bank card used by the Buyer.

Chenoha Studio uses a secure payment tool called Stripe. Payment security is based on the authentication of the Buyer, and on the confidentiality of all data. To ensure this security, Stripe uses proven cryptography techniques and complies with the various banking regulations applicable in France.
